Our good friend Maureen McFarlane, whom I met back in 1998 when we were both acting in Ridgefield Theatre Barn’s Production of It’s a Wonderful Life, took our engagement and announcement photos. Maureen is awesome at capturing people with their most natural expressions—even when she poses the photos. It’s the reason she’s been taking my headshots, and Nathan’s headshots, for a long time.
Usually, there’s one or two that are so awesome they’re the obvious choices. This time around, it wasn’t so easy. She caught many great ones, and it’s still so hard to decide which ones are the best—she likes some, I like some, Nathan likes some. For fun, here are all the ones that made the final cut. What’s really neat is that we’re not restricted to one—we have several to choose from for different reasons.
Some also, of course, look better in black and white. I’ve posted each of the seven that made the “final cut” (based on three people’s opinions, remember) in both color and black and white below.
Enjoy! And if you need headshots, reach out to me, I’ll put you in touch with Maureen. Thank you, Maureen!
These were shot Saturday, February 25, 2012, and they’re posted in the order in which they were taken.

I was happy to do it! It’s pretty easy to get good shots of a happy couple planning their wedding! I am looking forward to the big day!
Thanks again, Mo! We’re looking forward to the big day, too!
