We rose early on March 15 (a little too early, but it was great to know we were on property and only had a few feet to walk!) to meet with our Howe Caverns Wedding Coordinator, Anne-Marie, and Jo-An, who handles the dining room and banquet facilities and is also a chef.
I was very excited to meet them. Jo-An was the very first person I spoke with regarding a wedding at Howe Caverns, and I’d liked her instantly. And Anne-Marie is just a trip (a little later I’ll have some time to write all about the magical afternoon we connected and started working together).
The three-hour meeting covered everything about our ceremony location and reception down to the smallest detail—and I’d recommend to any Bride that you always be open-minded; better ideas than ones I’d had came out of that meeting because I was willing to listen to others’ creative ideas. I’m so pleased with everything—the ceremony location and décor, the reception room and menu…we’re ready to go!
