Although a lot got done in the past month, it’s all been further and far between and much less concentrated than it was in the first few months. I’m sure, however, that by mid-July, everything will start to pick up speed again. At this point, I’m trying to clear stuff off my plate so I can focus on the wedding for most of the summer. What I have discovered is that there’s an awful lot of junk I’ve been wasting my time on. In a way, this wedding has helped me prioritize better. There are definitely some projects I’m kicking to the curb now that even after the wedding I won’t miss!

Some of these items may overlap the last issue of Travel Log, as there were some things I left off.

~ Receive rocks from Maryanne S, Adam and Suzanne, Jill, Manzino, Mark and Melissa, and Heather.

~ Receive RSVPs from Michele, Lisa P, Nanette and Don, April, Rob and Jen, Larry and Heather, Adam and Susan, Sandra, Kristina and Matt, Aunt Bobbi, Tim and Susan, Nathan’s Mom, Michael, Christina, Jakob, Dylan, Bethie and David.

~ Stephanie selects and orders her dress.

~ Check my wedding gown for proper bustling (turns out it’s fine)

~ Consider, begin, and complete wedding registries.

~ Purchase wedding weekend clothes (right, this time! More on this in a future entry).

~ Discuss table seating with Nathan’s Aunt Bobbi (their side of family only)

~ Wedding make-up weekend with L’Aura, Meghan, Manzino, J, Mo, Michele. Lots of partying!

~ Manzino repairs the electric candles for the centerpieces (they weren’t working; they’re fine now)

~ Select more bridal party gifts and order.

~ Ordered bridal party gifts arrive.

~ Corsage/Bout meeting with Michele; select flowers.

~ Put together list of all corsages/bouts

~ Purchase card to give to Nathan on wedding day.

~ Bridal sweatsuit set (falls under category of dumb things I do because I can)

~ Stephanie’s dress arrives.

~ Wrap all thus-far received bridal party gifts with Diane and Donna

~ Order jewelry for rehearsal dinner to go with my blouse.

~ Hair trial weekend with Heather in Newport,RI. Lots of partying!

~  Blog posts, blog posts, blog posts…

~ Arrange to get Nathan’s Mom a dress—taking her out June 9.

~ Organize bridal party gift lists.

~ Compile guest list and get up-to-date on RSVPs, etc.

~ Purchase Krazy Glue to fix wedding earrings.

~ Consult withAuntieDelon etiquette stuff.

~ Consult with Anne-Marie, our wedding planner.

~ All tickets for registries arrive.
