Howe Caverns’ regular Café offers sandwiches, snacks, and even a great hot breakfast, but it does close at 5 and some of our guests might want a different experience, fast food, or groceries.
Cobleskill, just six miles down the road, has a little bit of everything. Here’s a partial list but one thing Nathan and I will tell you: if you happen to need lunch and you like ribs and chicken, DO NOT MISS Rubbin’ Butts Barbecue (pictured above)! It’s the BOMB! If you’re looking for a meal in one of the most historic—and haunted—inns in town with elegant food and a great bar, then plan some time to eat at the Bull’s Head Inn.
If you want a grab-and-go, we grouped the fast food chains separately. If you prefer to buy groceries, there is a Wal-mart Supercenter and a Price Chopper right in Cobleskill. There is a liquor store (Corsalls Plaza Liquor) in the Price Chopper plaza.
