Traveling by Train or Bus
Amtrak, Trailways and Greyhound have stops in nearby Schenectady.
Before traveling, call ahead to Central Taxi Co. at 518-346-2344 to make arrangements for a ride to Howe Caverns.
Travel time is about 30 minutes from Schenectady. The cost is $50, one way.
Driving
Please use the directions provided below or the GPS coordinates listed above. We recommend that you NOT use MapQuest or Google Maps as many of our guests reported their directions to be incorrect.

NYS Thruway (I-87) North toAlbany.
AtAlbanythe NYS Thruway becomes (I-90).
Continue on (I-90) West to exit 25A
(I-88) West to exit 22, then Route 7 East.
Follow signs.

Route 23 West, Route 145 North, Route 7 East

South to exit 1W, NYS Thruway
