Share something cool with us, ask us questions…embarrassing stories or comments are welcome! Be aware that, as time as gone on, I’ve noticed that this new “Guestbook” Page format WordPress has instituted is a great idea…but all great ideas fail, and this one does as some of the posts run over each other. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hopefully they’ll figure out the bugs! (Well, not even weddings are perfect, why should our blog be)?
Just leave a reply in the comments…I think…
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am impressed at the amount of work that you have already done. What a novel idea..your entire wedding/theme is. I just LOVE weddings and will totally love reading all about your progress. I am in full planning mode as well… but for my Son’s Eagle scout Court of Honor. Have a blast in PTOWN. I am looking forward to seeing pics and reading entries. Peace and Love…. Gail PS… I only have shells in my walk not stones but would be glad to send if you accept Fla shells.
Thank you, Gail! Congrats to your son on his Eagle Court of Honor. We have a woman in my office whose son made that last year, and it is a big deal and a very high honor, so absolutely enjoy it. What an achievement! You must be so proud of him!
Yeah, I’m trying to get it all under control so it doesn’t run my life for the next eight months. I’ve really been enjoying the planning, but there’s lots on my plate so it can’t be the be-all, end-all. I figured if I get most of everything under control it’ll unfold as it’s supposed to.
YES WE WOULD LOVE A FLORIDA SHELL! That would be awesome — there was an underground ocean in the book, too! It’s perfect! Please send!

Okay – I received the invite today and it’s beautiful and organic looking – like Howe Caverns! It’s going to be a blast..I plan to throw up somewhere on the grounds..love, Steve ~ Steve Manzino, Jan. 31, 2012
Kent & I received the Save the Date magnet today, and all I can say is “Wow!” Very impressive, but then again, I should not be shocked considering the creative diva who is at the helm here. So looking forward to sharing in your special day. Hugs to you both!
Thanks, L’Aura! Your thoughts mean a lot. I’ve been having a blast, but man, this is all going soooo fast….
Wow…ok where to start… I love this idea…in fact my fiancé just took me to Howe Caverns this past weekend. I loved it, so much so, when we got home I started tossing around the idea of getting married there. I of course checked out Howe Caverns website then googled Howe Cavern Weddings and came across your page. This is so exciting and cool. I will be calling Howe Caverns first thing in the morning for more wedding details…. as well as sending you two a rock from our yard. Our home is nestled at the base of the Shawangunk Ridge, below Minnewaska State Park in New York. The rock is white quartz. Best of luch and I will be checking back often for updates! ~ Shannon
Shannon, THAT IS AWESOME!! I will tell you here that having a wedding at Howe Caverns is incredible! What I found out when I first called back in January is that if you wish to get married at the actual Bridal Altar underground, it’s limited regarding guests and time-frame due to safety reasons. I was a little surprised, but that wasn’t going to stop me (I have loved the place forever, many happy memories there from childhood), so we decided to hold the wedding above-ground out front on the terrace with the reception in the reception room. Anne-Marie (their wedding chick) and the ENTIRE crew (April in the Hotel, Jo-An in the kitchen) have been so gracious in working with us to create a dream wedding (we’re having only about 80 guests; underground takes a ceiling of 20 or so). It just depends on what you want, and we WILL have our wedding pic taken down below! I’m so excited about that! I never dreamed wedding planning could be this much fun and joyous. It’s been awesome. Keep me posted, definitely!
PS–Did you do the Lantern Tour with the Sweetheart Package? Nathan and I did that in 2010 and that’s part of the reason, other than my past history, that we chose HC as the location.
Check the 6th picture down out on this link! Ha! I thought of you!

Awesome job on the invitations!!! Yes, the invitation was the first thing [Auntie Del] showed me when I got home. She (and my dad), were very impressed – as am I – how much work went into them and how easy you made it for people to know what is available to do. Great job kiddo!

Love it that you found a dress that is going to showcase your splendid rack. Figure since I’m your big sister who lives 3000 miles away, you could show me a shot of the dress. When you’re ready.
Of course WDW. Duh!
Love you,
ME

Getting married agrees with both of you. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Nathan but you both look amazing in all recent photos. Get some rest. Just reading about all that you are doing is tiring me out!!

Just because you, Kaye, said “drink around the world,” I’m bringing up the 2008 variation: Drink around the Monorail. Faster, but very efficient.

No pictures of the dress should be put anywhere! I know you know that- I’m just reinforcing. (-;

“Absolutely NOT! We will have a drink, work on some make-up, have a drink, sit and chat, have another drink, talk & laugh some more, and then maybe we’ll have a drink and relax.
